  Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace Univeristy
Coming to Saint John's
Financial Peace University consists of a 13-week video curriculum taught by financial expert Dave Ramsey that incorporates small-group discussions to encourage accountability and discipleship. Most financial programs are boring, with confusing information and monotonous instructors. Financial Peace is very different! It is highly entertaining for everyone, with a unique combination of humor, informative financial advice, and biblical messages.
Please leave a message for Father Monk if you wish to participate.

Prayer Request Box
The Daughters of the King's Prayer Request Box is located at the back of the church beside the door leading to the Narthex.  You may place your prayer request, which will remain confidential, in the box, and the Daughters of the King will pray daily for your concerns.

Habitat for Humanity
Our next Habitat workday will be on Saturday March 7 beginning at 8:00 am.
We will be working on the first Saturday of each month. We need a large turnout for this workday so that we can get a lot done.

  2009 Lenten Series
"How to Communicate in Difficult Times"

This series, written by the Reverend Doctor Darryl Starnes, looks at the process of interpersonal communication,  from a Bible perspective, and challenges us to be more Christ-like in our communications.

Most of us, at one time or another in our lives, have found ourselves at an impasse with another because we did not effectively communicate our true feelings with our words and body language.

Join us on March 3, 10, 24, and 31 as we delve into this subject together.

The schedule for our Lenten Tuesdays is:
 pm: Evening Prayer
5:00 pm: Choir Rehearsal
6:00 pm: Evening Prayer
6:30 pm: Dinner
7:00 pm: Program
7:40 pm: Compline and Dismissal
Childcare is provided for those 4 and under, and there will be a children's program for the youth of the parish.
